Sam S. Han

Sam S. Han focuses on sourcing, structuring, syndicating and executing private equity and debt capital transactions. Sam has over 27 years of experience originating, structuring, and executing corporate, leveraged, and structured finance transactions across sponsor-backed and strategic clients.

Most recently, Sam was a Partner at Ancoris Capital Partners focusing on the financial advisory, equity, structured equity and debt capital solutions in the private placement markets supporting financial sponsor and corporate clients. Prior to Ancoris, Sam was a co-founding Managing Director and Head of Sponsor Finance Origination at CoBank, ACB, where he built and led sponsor relationships and originated LBO financing solutions across consumer, food & beverage, packaging, logistics, storage, building products, and retail sectors.

Prior to CoBank, Sam spent the majority of his banking career in New York-based investment banking roles at Jefferies LLC and BNP Paribas Securities Corp., advising financial sponsors and corporates on leveraged financings and capital structure solutions. Over his banking career, Sam has successfully originated and executed over $70 billion in aggregate transaction volume.

Sam began his career at HD Hyundai Heavy Industries, the largest shipbuilder and marine engine producer in the world, where he last served as Head of Corporate Finance & Investor Relations prior to relocating to the U.S. Prior to his professional career, Sam served in the Republic of Korea Army (ROKA) Special Warfare Command as a paratrooper and Special Intelligence Sergeant.

Sam holds an MBA in Finance from Cornell University and BBA in Accounting from University of Miami (FL). Expertise:
